Turtle Tails

Sweet Shells Therapy not only provides art and pet therapy for seniors with dementia, but we also take the time to educate people about turtles and the importance of saving them! All of Sweet Shells turtles are rescues and at one time were sick and ill. However, they are so accustom to be being around people that they will no longer survive in the wild. I had such a wonderful experience with Sweet Shells Therapy! Joan did an amazing job teaching our residents all about turtles with so many fun and interesting facts. Everyone loved the interactive experience of passing the turtles around and getting to see them up close. The turtles were absolutely wonderful, and Joan’s passion and kindness made the program extra special. Thank you for such a fun and educational visit — great job, Joan, and great turtles too!
